Heal Before the Deal
A high-converting sales page for a paid 3-night masterclass — funnel structure, live countdown, and checkout, built and shipped for a client.

Why it needed to exist.
Dr. Peter Obichukwu was launching a paid 3-night masterclass and needed more than an event flyer — he needed a page engineered to convert cold visitors into paying registrants at ₦10,000 a seat. That means a landing page that builds trust fast, walks a hesitant reader through why the program is for them, stacks the value until the price feels obvious, and drives them to checkout before the moment passes. I designed and built that page end to end.
How it’s built.
A platform that ingests attendancaHeal Before the Deal is a single-page, long-form sales funnel built in React and TypeScript, and its structure is deliberate — every section moves the reader one step closer to registering. It opens with an urgency bar and a hero that names the visitor's pain ("you're not unlucky in love — you're carrying wounds that keep choosing for you"), establishes the guide's authority with a dedicated instructor section, then runs a "does this sound like you?" block that mirrors the reader's problem back to them before presenting the six-module, three-night curriculum as the solution.
From there the page uses classic conversion mechanics, built as real interactive components: a live countdown timer driving urgency toward the start date, a stacked bonus section and a value breakdown that totals ₦90,000+ against the ₦10,000 price, a scarcity indicator ("76% of seats claimed"), a guarantee to reduce risk, and repeated calls to action throughout. Checkout is handed off to an external event platform (Teaketer) via integrated CTAs, so registration and payment run on a proven system while the page does the selling. The whole thing is fully responsive and optimized for social sharing with Open Graph and Twitter card metadata — important, since most traffic to a launch page like this arrives from a phone via social media.e data, routes messages through WhatsApp, and secures every record with Row-Level Security so access is scoped correctly by role.
The hard parts.
Engineered the page as a funnel, not a flyer. Every section has a conversion job — pain, authority, curriculum, value stack, urgency, guarantee, CTA — sequenced in the order that moves a hesitant reader to buy. This is copy-and-structure thinking, not just layout. Built the conversion mechanics as live components. A real countdown timer to the start date, a scarcity indicator, and a value-stack breakdown — the interactive pieces that make a launch page feel time-sensitive and worth acting on now. Clean checkout hand-off. Rather than build fragile payment infrastructure, I integrated the CTAs with the client's external event platform, so the page focuses on converting and the transaction runs on a system built for it. Optimized for phone-first, social traffic. Fully responsive, fast, and set up with Open Graph and Twitter cards so the link previews cleanly when shared — because that's where the audience actually comes from. Shipped fast on a real deadline. The page had to be live and converting ahead of a fixed launch date — a real client timeline, delivered.
What shipped.
I delivered a complete, conversion-optimized launch page for Dr. Peter's masterclass — from pain-point framing through curriculum, value stacking, urgency, and checkout hand-off — built and shipped ahead of the launch. [If the client shared results — registrations, revenue, conversion rate — add one line here; it's the most persuasive thing you can include. If not, leave the clean delivery statement.] It's proof I can build not just websites, but pages engineered to sell.
